Almost three months from my very first blog post this year on ‘Mental Fitness Goal for 2023,’ I have taken small but steady steps towards this new mind workout, getting in more and more reps, incorporating it into my daily routine, which is slowly and surely becoming a healthy habit.
Hence when it was time to think of a topic while planning the ‘International Women’s Day’ celebration for my tribe of #womenleaders, Mental Fitness came up as a no-brainer. Be it work, business or life Mental Fitness or PQ (Positive Intelligence quotient) lies at the very core of well being. This subject is getting more and more important as Hong Kong finally gets back to normal post covid, bringing in a plethora of activities and opportunities but along with it the usual stress and anxiety that comes with making choices, dealing with people, meeting deadlines and so on.
The big question that we now face as women entrepreneurs is “How do we keep intact our foundation of balance and well-being and at the same time make substantial progress in our business without feeling the stress and burnout?”
Yes we have guided meditation, spiritual talks, hike in the nature, reading books on relieving stress, and so on but while we might gain some insight how do we put it into practice?
This is where the PQ Operating system comes into place where we build a foundation of mental fitness by strengthening three critical mental muscles to shift the balance of power from your inner Saboteurs (your negative self) to your inner Sage (your positive self).
Using the best breakthroughs from the field of neuroscience, positive psychology, cognitive psychology and performance science, along with a lot of original Positive Intelligence research, mental fitness simply put is a set of exercises that build up mind muscles, which in turn have a profound impact on –
-Maximising personal and professional potential.
-Building strong and lasting relationships.
-Creating happiness.
Our three-hour open and interactive discussion aims at inspiring and motivating you to make a start towards this meaningful workout that will change your life. Sometimes even a small dent is enough.
